BARBERTON/WOOSTER - Virginia A. Hawkins (nee Seiberling), 86, passed away Wednesday, October 12, 2011. A life resident of Barberton, moving recently to Wooster, Virginia was a graduate of Barberton High School, class of 1943, and a member of Lakeview United Methodist Church. She was active in Jazzercise, loved to travel and enjoyed line dancing. Preceded in death by her husband, Warren T. Hawkins; brother, Robert Seiberling; and sister, Harriet Seiberling; Virginia is survived by her sons, Richard (Terrill) of Charlotte, N.C., Paul (Christine) of Cuyahoga Falls, Thomas of Columbus; daughter, Marjorie (Jeff) Shamp of Wooster; grandchildren, Nathan Hawkins of Charlotte, N.C., Hillary Campbell of Marshville, N.C., Michael Hawkins of Columbus, Carlie Hawkins of Columbus, James Rickard of Cuyahoga Falls, Mason and Jeffrey Shamp of Wooster, along with four-great-grandchildren. The family would like to thank Hospice of Greater Wayne County for the care and support given to Virginia and her family. Funeral service will be held Monday, 11 a.m. at the Campfield-Hickman-Collier Funeral Home, 566 W. Park Ave., Barberton 44203, with Rev. Tina Nees officiating. Burial at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
