Vincent T. Presutto

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. -- Vincent T. Presutto, 34, passed away December 18, 2009 at UT Hospital of East, Tenn. after a senseless act of violence took his life.  He was christened in the Catholic faith and a member of St. Francis de Sales Church. He later rededicated his life to the Lord at New Life Church in Akron in June of 2008.  He was a native of Manchester and graduated from Manchester High School where he was on the wrestling and football teams. He also was a recent graduate of Tennessee Technology Center graduating with an electrician's license. Prior to that he was a server and bartender for the past ten years at various restaurants around Knoxville where he made many friends. He was a beautiful, sweet and caring person. His family and friends were always the most important part of his life. He was a bright shining light to all, especially his son. He loved his little boy more than anything in the world and was a wonderful father.  He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Paul Hrosky and Frank Presutto and stepfather, Robert Mitchell. Survivors include his son, Elias Trevor; soul mate and best friend, Jennifer Presutto; mother, Kathleen Mitchell; father and stepmother, Vincent and Marianne Presutto; grandmothers, Maxine Hrosky and Gina Presutto; brother and sister-in-law, Jason and Andrea Presutto; brother, Paul Presutto; sister and brother-in-law, Gina and Ryan Taylor; brother, Dominic Presutto; nieces, Megan, Ady and Elise Presutto; Olivia Carder; nephews, Paul Presutto, Jr. and Nicholas Presutto; and many many wonderful friends.  Funeral service will be held 7 p.m. Wednesday, December 23, 2009, at the SILVA-HOSTETLER FUNERAL HOME, 1199 Wooster Rd. West, Barberton. Calling hours will be from 4 p.m. until the service time. Burial will take place at Lynnhurst Cemetery in Knoxville, Tenn.
