BARBERTON -- Marjorie P. Chik, age 39, died October 15, 2009 surrounded by her loving family. A lifelong resident of Barberton, she was born December 2, 1969 in Barberton and was a graduate of Barberton High School, Class of '1988'. She married Joseph F. Chik on April 24, 1993. She had been employed by Yoder Brothers and enjoyed scrapbooking. She was preceded in death by grandparents, Jack and Betty Angst; grandfather, Roy Mosley. She is survived by husband, Joseph F. Chik of Barberton; daughters, Macey and Lilly, of the home; parents, Dave and Nancy Mosley of Clinton; brother, David Jack Mosley of Barberton; mother-in-law, Marjorie A. Chik of Barberton; father-in-law, Joseph Chik of Barberton; grandmother, Doris Mosley of New Franklin; sisters-in-law, Yvonne (Lonnie) Murdock of Ellet, Joanne Chik of Barberton, Marcia (Mike) Suliks of Norton and Christina (Gordon) Cole of Green; nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles. Funeral service will be Monday at 11 a.m. at Zak-Thacker & Monbarren Funeral Home, 132 N. Portage St., Doylestown, 44230 with Rev. Rick Struckel officiating. Burial will be at Greenlawn Memorial Park. Friends may call on Sunday from 2 to 5 p.m. at the funeral home. If desired memorial donations may be made to the family for her daughters' education.
