WADSWORTH -- Janet (Blough) Fulton, 83, of Wadsworth, passed away Tuesday, March 1, 2011. She was born on March 29, 1927 in Wadsworth to the late Glen and Addie Blough. Mrs. Fulton was a graduate of Wadsworth High School Class of 1945 and was a lifelong member of First Christian Church where she served as a former Deaconess, had served on the Pulpit Committee and had served on almost every committee possible. She was affectionately known as “The Card Lady”, having sent birthday cards and anniversary cards to all she knew. She was an avid knitter and was very active with the First Christian Shawl Ministry. Janet was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Harold “Pinky” Fulton with whom she celebrated 56 years of marriage, also her brother, Russell Blough and sister, Harriett Davis. She is survived by her children, Chris (Craig) Messner of Wadsworth, Kathy Peace of Wadsworth, Lyle (Cheryl) Fulton of Florida and Paula (Alan) Hilderbrand of Georgia. There are six grandchildren, Cory and Clint Messner, Amanda and Eliza Peace, Joshua Fulton and Dawn Clifton. The family will receive friends 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the Hilliard Rospert Funeral Home, 174 N. Lyman St., Wadsworth, and from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday at First Christian Church, 116 E. Boyer St., Wadsworth, where funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m., with Rev. James Singleton officiating. Interment will be at Woodlawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the First Christian Church Memorial Fund or to the Youth Fund.
