James T. Wade, 66, passed away Wednesday, morning September 9, 2009 at the Hospice Care Center. He was born in Akron to Ted and Jerry Wade who have preceded him in death. He had battled Renal Cancer for two years. James was employed in the Real Estate/Appraisal Dept. of Summit County. A special thank you goes out to all the wonderful co-workers who donated time, gifts, cards and well wishes. Jim appreciated your generosity so much. Jim leaves behind his wife of almost 46 years, Vicky; his daughter, Lesley Anne Moughler; his son, Todd William (Beth); grandchildren, Mitchell James Moughler and Chloe Elizabeth Wade, both of whom brought him such joy and love. He also leaves his sister, Cindy (Terry) Shayes and their daughter, Kelly, all of Oklahoma City, Okla.; his very dear cousin, Gayle Lightner; mother-in-law, Lois Ocepek; brothers-in-law, Thomas Ocepek and Daniel (Connie) Ocepek; and sister-in-law, Christine (Mike) Fano. The family extends much gratitude to all his caregivers at AGMC Oncology and Cardiology units as well as the ER staff, Visiting Nurse Equipment staff, VNS Hospice home staff and the Hospice Care Center nurses and aides who offered such kind and tender care. The family will receive friends on Saturday, September 12, 2009, from 1 to 4 p.m. at the SILVA-HOSTETLER FUNERAL HOME, 1199 Wooster Rd. West, Barberton. Private family burial.
