Donna R. Seibel (nee Holt), 62, went home to be with the Lord on October 25, 2009. She was born in Akron to the late Dean and Jackie (Bray) Holt and was a lifelong area resident. She retired from Acme with 28 years of service and was also a long-time, active member of the Southeast Church of the Nazarene where she was involved in Bible Study and the choir. Donna was the type who truly loved life and always enjoyed spending time with her entire family and friends. She will be sadly missed. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Cathy (Bud) Karg and sons, Bobby Schmeltzer and Scotty Seibel. She is survived by her loving husband, John J. Seibel, Sr.; sons, Michael (Leslie) Schmeltzer, Johnny J. Seibel, Jr., and John Michael (Tracy) Seibel; daughter-in-law, Tanya Seibel; sister, Linda (Gary) Bell; brother, Wes (Theresa) Holt; 11 grandchildren to whom she was 'Mimi'; and many nieces, nephews and friends. The funeral service will be TONIGHT, October 29, 2009, at 7 p.m., at the Eckard Baldwin Sanctuary Chapel, 760 E. Market St., with Rev. Nan Taylor officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home for three hours prior to the service, from 4 to 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made the Susan G. Komen for the Cure Foundation.
