Brenda Kay Whitmyer, 61, passed away on August 1, 2010 at her residence. Brenda was preceded in death by her mother, Reva McCullen. She is survived by her husband, Jim; son, Jimmy; daughter, Julie (John) Noble; her pride and joy, grandchildren, Katey and Melani and also Ashley and Johnny; brother, Fred; sisters, Janet and Robin; brothers-in-law, Jerry and Larry; sister-in-law, Sandy; daughter-in-law, Becky; a host of niece and nephews. Brenda will be dearly missed by all of her family. Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, August 4, 2010 at Schermesser Funeral Home, 600 E. Turkeyfoot Lake Rd., Akron, OH 44319 (SR 619) with Rev. Harvey Greathouse officiating. Family and friends may call TODAY from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. and for one hour prior to the service Wednesday.
